Terms of Service

Last Updated: November 1, 2023

Welcome to Aussie Wanderlust. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website at usciorabbi.com ("Website"), booking travel services, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which include our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we do, we will post the changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of our services after the changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Services Description

Aussie Wanderlust provides travel agency services, specializing in Australian travel experiences. Our services include:

  • Arranging and booking tours, accommodations, transportation, and activities
  • Providing travel information and itinerary planning
  • Processing payments for travel services
  • Offering travel-related content through our blog and newsletter

We act as an intermediary between you and various third-party service providers such as tour operators, hotels, transportation companies, and activity providers. The actual travel services are provided by these third parties, not by Aussie Wanderlust directly.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

Some features of our Website may require you to create an account. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of our services, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

4. Booking and Reservations

4.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking through our Website or directly with our agents, you are offering to purchase travel services subject to these Terms. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant service providers.

4.2 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided for booking purposes (including traveler names, contact details, passport information, and special requirements) is accurate and complete. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in booking errors, delays, or cancellations, for which we cannot be held responsible.

4.3 Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our Website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. Prices may change at any time due to factors beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations, changes in taxes or levies, or increases implemented by service providers.

Payment terms vary depending on the type of booking:

  • For most tours and packages, a deposit (typically 20-25% of the total price) is required at the time of booking, with the balance due 60 days prior to departure.
  • For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is usually required at the time of booking.
  • Some promotions, special offers, or high-demand services may require different payment terms, which will be specified at the time of booking.

We accept payment via major credit cards, bank transfers, and other specified payment methods. All online payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

4.4 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us, usually in the form of a confirmation email. Please review all details in your confirmation documents carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.

5. Cancellations and Modifications

5.1 Cancellation by You

Cancellation policies vary depending on the service provider and the type of booking. Specific cancellation terms will be provided at the time of booking and in your confirmation documents. In general:

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before departure typically incur a loss of deposit.
  • Cancellations made 30-59 days before departure typically incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of departure typically incur a charge of 100% of the total booking value.

Some bookings, such as special promotions or services with strict supplier terms, may be non-refundable. This will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

5.2 Modifications by You

If you wish to make changes to your booking (such as dates, accommodation, or traveler information), please contact us as soon as possible. While we will try to accommodate your request, modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Modification requests made within 30 days of departure may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, potentially incurring cancellation fees.

5.3 Cancellation or Modification by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or modify your booking in the following circumstances:

  • If we do not receive your payments by the due dates.
  • If the service provider cancels the service or makes significant changes to it.
  • If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) make it impossible or unsafe to provide the service.
  • If minimum group size requirements for certain tours are not met.

In such cases, we will offer you alternative services of comparable standards, a credit for future travel, or a refund, depending on the circumstances and availability.

5.4 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. Travel insurance can provide financial protection against unexpected events that may cause you to cancel your trip or incur additional expenses.

6. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities

6.1 Travel Documents

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary travel documents, including:

  • Valid passport (with at least six months validity beyond your return date)
  • Visas or other entry permits required for your itinerary
  • Proof of vaccination or health certificates, if required
  • Travel insurance documents

We may provide general information about travel requirements, but it is ultimately your responsibility to verify and fulfill all entry, exit, health, and documentation requirements for your journey.

6.2 Health and Fitness

You should consult with your doctor regarding any health requirements or recommendations for your destination. Some of our tours require a reasonable level of fitness and mobility. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically capable of participating in the activities included in your itinerary.

If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements that may affect your ability to travel or participate in certain activities, you must inform us at the time of booking so that we can advise on the suitability of your chosen itinerary and make appropriate arrangements where possible.

6.3 Compliance with Local Laws and Customs

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs of the countries and regions you visit. This includes respecting local cultural norms, following environmental guidelines, and adhering to rules at attractions, accommodations, and transportation services.
